Here is Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada review

Arjun (Nikhil) is a happy going guy who enjoys his life.  He later comes to know that his friend (Vennela Kishore) is mentally disturbed and takes him to Kerala for the treatment. In the journey, Arjun meets Amala and falls in love with her. After returning to Hyderabad he finds out that Amala is a spirit and has possessed Nitya (Hebah). Later the spirit of Amala leaves Nitya and possesses another girl, Parvathi (Nandita Swetha). Why the spirit has possessed the girls and what is her relation with Arjun and how Arjun finds a solution to the crux form the remaining story.

Cast and crew performance:

Nikhil has done a decent job and looks convincing in his role. Hebah Patel seems a bit odd in few scenes but looks pretty in remaining. Nandita Swetha is the major highlight of the film and the actress has pulled off her role with ease. Vennela Kishore has done justice to his role and serves humour to the narration.

Sekhar Chandra’s background score is a huge asset to the movie whereas a couple of songs disturb the pace of narration. Sai Sriram’s cinematography is quite captivating. The movie is crispy and quite engaging without much lags, thanks to Chota K. Prasad’s editing. Production values are good. Director Vi Anand showcased his excellency in choosing an outstanding plot and executing it to the best. Had the climax handled with a little more care, the movie would have been into another level. Nevertheless he has given what all is needed to the script and takes the audience to a thrilling ride.

Few scenes slow down the narration

Final verdict:

Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada is a refreshing movie with a thrilling plotline that would hold the interest of the cinegoer till the end. Engaging screenplay, twists in between and a bunch of comedy scenes is what makes the film a must watch. Few scenes slow down the pace of narration and also climax would have been better. On the whole Nikhil has come up with one more successful flick and is going to bag a hit with the romantic thriller. Watch it for the best weekend choice!

Everything goes well until a sudden twist turns his happy going life into a breathtaking adventure. What could be the twist might form the remaining plot.

Cast and crew performances:

Hattrick hero Nikhil has a lot of hopes on Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada and is quite confident that the audience would not dislike the movie at any cost. He said in the promotions that his role is of a graphic designer  and would be quite interesting. Hebah Patel is pretty as usual in her earlier films. Trailer showcased Nandita Swetha as a lady possessed by a ghost and the actress seems to have pulled it off with ease.

Songs are quite refreshing and Masthugundhi Life stands out as the chart buster. Visuals are quite captivating, as mentioned by Nikhil in an interview, the film has been shot completely outside and avoided the sets to create the original feel. Sai Sriram’s cinematography appeals quite good. We will have to wait for one more day to know how the director Vi Anand might have tackled the flick.
