Here is the exclusive Dhruva review and rating!
Dhruva (Ram Charan) who is an IPS trainee, starts a secret investigation about a 500 crore worth scam. In the process he finds out that Siddarth Abhimanyu, a renowned businessman is behind the scam and plots to catch him. Siddarth later comes to know that the young cop is after him and starts a mind game to confuse him. How Dhruva finds out Siddarth’s mind game and how he puts an end to the baddie’s crimes form the remaining plot.
Ram Charan is exceptionally good in his role and improved a lot in his acting skills. Aravind Swamy has done a decent job but has got nothing new to do as he sticked to the same performance that of the original version. Rakul Preet Singh is pretty and steals the hearts with her glamour show in songs. Posani Krishna Murali, Nasser and Navdeep are good in their roles.
PS Vinod’s cinematography gives a visual treat to the audience. Hiphop Tamizha’s songs are refreshing and the background score is a huge asset. Production values are good. Director Surender Reddy has decently handled the remake without letting down the original plot. He has also blended it with extra style. The film would have been even better if taken more care of the run time.
Dhruva is a stylish action entertainer with an engaging screenplay. Ram Charan is at his best and one could watch the film for him. The film would entertain the multiplex audience and also goes well at B, C centres. On the whole, Dhruva is one more film that relieves audience from routine flicks. Watch it for the best weekend entertainment.
Deccan Report Rating: 3.5/5
Here is the pre review of Ram charan Dhruva Movie (Stay tuned to Deccan Report for exclusive Dhruva review and rating )
As per the remake version (as the makers sticked to the original story and screenplay), Dhruva is the story of an IPS officer (Ram Charan) who has a phenomenal goal of finding the right enemy whose defeat can eliminate the crime in the society. In the process he gains knowledge about the illegal business being run by Siddarth Abhimanyu (Aravind Swamy), one of the most influential businessmen who even tackles politics. Rakul plays the female lead who will be seen as the training mate of Charan. How Charan puts an end to Siddarth Abhimanyu and his crimes forms the remaining story.
Ram Charan looks stunning with a barrel-chested body. The mega hero has gone through a lot of homework for Dhruva in order to build a six pack body. Recently released 1 minute video (Dhruva sneak peek) showcases his maturity in acting and dialogue diction.
Rakul Preet Singh looks more pretty as well as gorgeous in the song promos and trailer. Aravind Swamy has come up with stylish looks and seems good with his part as he is reprising his role from the original version.
PS Vinod’s cinematography is topnotch as the visuals have been quite captivating starting from the first look teaser to the latest released 1 minute video. Hiphop Tamizha’s songs have already gone viral and his background score is expected to be remarkable after listening to teaser and trailer.
Production values are extra ordinary as the stylish action entertainer is bankrolled by the mega producer Allu Aravind. Surender Reddy who faced a box office failure with Kick 2 is quite confident on film success and the promos and theatrical trailer speak for themselves. Hope he strikes back with Dhruva!
